Going oriental

I have decided to pursue yet a different sports career, which might have been influenced by my recent trip to Turkey - or it might just have been coincidence.
Anyway, from September, I will learn the great art of gracefully swinging my belly and hips in smooth movements to oriental rhythms...
SHAKE THAT BOOTY :-)

Whenever, or if I ever, will be good enough to dare to show my skills, I will post some pictures.

Norwegian Summer

An impression of the fantastic Norwegian Summer: Barbecue @ Jasna's and Rune's

A day without water

What is it they say, you never know what you miss until you lost it?
Well, today I experienced 24 hours without water. You never think about it, but once you don't have it anymore, it is really shit! I felt so unhygienic after only one day of not being able to shower, and the worst part is not being able to use the toilet because you can't flush it... Jaja, the stupidest thing I did was to trust Oslo kommune to fix the problem quickly, so I told my work I'd come a bit later after the shower had been fixed, well, in the end I worked from home all day, cause it took forever to fix it. Until 10 a.m. Oslo kommune had dug half of the hole in the street and from 10 to 12 the hole was abandoned - lunch break?!?!?!?! Damn, was I pissed... And I really needed to ...
Anyway, the whole story made me think about how great we actually have it, with all our sophisticated and clean water systems and how humiliating it feels not to have access to it.

The Grandfathers of Rock - live in Oslo

Even though I am not exactly a Rolling Stones fan, this was definitely one of the best concerts I have been at! You would think those guys would need oxygen masks to make it through the whole concert, but quite the opposite: Mick is as crazily agile as he was when he was young! At least, I have a hard time imagining anyone could be anymore agile, but then i didn't grow up in the 60s either, so I wouldn't know...

Facit: Strongly recommended!
